Sigrid Kaag, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, visited University of Amsterdam Informatics Institute on March 21st. The visit was planned as part of the preparation for a business trip to Silicon Valley which took place on March 25 & 26.
During the visit, Minister had a first-hand experience of the ‘deep fake news’ with a demo developed by 3DUniversum. Kaag also discussed the future of artificial intelligence and its social impacts with Prof Dr Theo Gevers, Co-Founder & CEO of 3DUniversum.
